Projections
Title: Newsies 2.0
News reporting is a critical part of our culture. It is a general recording of our history. So many stories, so much history-it has become a part of us. To show this combination I asked my models to paint their faces white to act as a blank canvas for the projection. Before the photoshoot, I took pictures of headlines from major events in our history. Once the models had their faces painted, I projected the pictures of the major headlines onto their faces. I had them stand up higher or move down lower to get different angles/perspectives of each headline.
